Parenteral Methotrexate – Metoject 50mg prefilled syringe
Concerns re SPC

Following concerns raised by colleagues, BSR’s Clinical Affairs Committee has been in correspondence with the MHRA regarding the Summary of Product Characteristics (SPC) for the Parenteral Methotrexate - Metoject 50mg prefilled syringe. We were concerned that some of the advice does not match with previous methotrexate advice, or with accepted practice for consenting patients onto parenteral methotrexate.

EULAR 2010

The 2010 European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) is being held near Rome on 16 –19 June. This should be an exciting programme with the opportunity to meet and exchange experiences with nurses and health professionals from many other countries. It also affords the opportunity of visiting this wonderful city with all it has to offer!

The abstract submission date is very close: 29 January 2010. View further details and submit abstracts.

At the end of January 2010, the EULAR Health Professionals Committee will make a call for submissions of sessions for the 2012 meeting in London. This is your opportunity to structure the programme and ensure that it is what you want. For sessions to be accepted they need to multi-country and, if possible, multi-professional. We will put the call on the BHPR website as soon as it appears so, don’t moan if EULAR doesn’t deliver the programme that you want; do something about it!

Hope to see you in Rome.
