Pre-conference symposia NRAS Patients in Focus Awards 2010Application forms are available for the 2010 awards. Download from the NRAS website or call the NRAS office on 0845 458 7650.
Entry is open to all rheumatology professionals, including consultant led teams and to primary care professionals who provide care to people with rheumatoid arthritis. Deadline for entries is Friday 29 January 2010. The winning entry will receive a bursary of £1500 to be used for educational purposes. We may consider late entry because of poor response rates. We know you’re all under pressure and extremely busy but this really is very straightforward to enter and we know that there are lots of teams out there doing great work, so we’d love to hear from you. We were concerned that some of the advice does not match with previous methotrexate advice, or with accepted practice for consenting patients onto parenteral methotrexate. This should be an exciting programme with the opportunity to meet and exchange experiences with nurses and health professionals from many other countries. It also affords the opportunity of visiting this wonderful city with all it has to offer! The abstract submission date is very close: 29 January 2010. View further details and submit abstracts. At the end of January 2010, the EULAR Health Professionals Committee will make a call for submissions of sessions for the 2012 meeting in London. This is your opportunity to structure the programme and ensure that it is what you want. For sessions to be accepted they need to multi-country and, if possible, multi-professional. We will put the call on the BHPR website as soon as it appears so, don’t moan if EULAR doesn’t deliver the programme that you want; do something about it! Hope to see you in Rome.
